Monday 16th
We woke up a bit later this morning. Breakfast out of the way, Linda had a quick looks at her work email as she's chasing stuff to do with her imminent move over to the Bank of England. This isn't going as smoothly as it could. So once completed, Linda went out onto the balcony for a read. Humidity is up a little this morning - the condensation on the windows had returned once more. There's a cold front going to come over us sometime mid-week, after which it'll then return to seasonal average temperatures so they say on the TV. Currently, it's probably high eighties here, about 5' higher than average.
Interestingly, we've been watching the news this morning regarding Hurricane Ophelia, the remnants of which are moving past Ireland and the northern part of the UK today. London doesn't look like it'll be affected much thankfully. It was the easterly most hurricane ever recorded, reaching Cat 3 near the Azores islands in the Atlantic. There are no new storms tracking in the Atlantic at the moment, so our trip home should be unaffected on Saturday.
Spent another day in the apartment. Linda was out on the balcony for a couple of hours.
I was doing lunch
The sunset had looked promising, but eventually was clouded over and became pretty poor.
The evening meal was out at the all-you-can-eat Pizza place Fire and Stone.
Looking for an early start tomorrow to head off to Clearwater.
