Let The Games Begin!

Monday say the grand opening of the fourth annual Harnkegger Games in Thorin's Hall.

To everyone's delight the crowd, consisting of athletes and supported alike, was treated to a much appreciated opening Concert by the Rolling Kegs. As all were enjoying the concert, it was clear many athletes were eager to get started, some having waited a year for this event.

Many could be seen giving their ponies a final leg-message or going over the rules once last time.

Dwarrow-ladies such as Kveltrild, the wife of Uzbad Duinn, were on hand to calm the nerves of many of the athletes by providing the best ales and cakes Thorin's Halls had to offer.

The opening speech by Kandral Strongbeard was thus met with tremendous cheers.

Before this reported knew what was going on a haras of horses was storming down the steps of Thorin's Hall.

Ered Luin, the Shire and Breelands will be hosting fifteen events this year over a seven day period.

Who will become the honoured "Harnkegger", or which nation will win the title of "Harnkegger Nation"?
