My first visit with an E.R. Physician, at the current hospital, before I was transferred to East Land, was very positive. We chatted coherently for about twenty minutes. A short time after the assessment, I overheard a ‘female orderly’ say to a nurse behind the station, “I’ll do it and get it done!” When she came back approximately 10 minutes later, she said, “I made the phone call!” to the nurse. I found out later from my husband that the hospital had called him telling him I was going crazy and if I don’t straighten up, he can come and get me. (Note: If I had been ‘going crazy’ hospital security would have been called and the city police notified and not my husband!) When I came back from East Land (First Visit) I was listening to all the phone messages and I heard that ‘female orderly’ confirm what my husband had said to me. I recognized her voice. I heard my husband replying to her. (my husband didn’t know how to answer the phone without turning off the recording unit.) The recording of them talking ended 10 seconds on its own. So, I didn’t hear all of the conversation. The same ‘female orderly’, the fourth transfer, to The State Hospital, this time, walked into the exam room I was in and without looking at me went straight to my purse, took out my wallet, and left. When she came back, 5 minutes later, put my wallet back into my purse and left. After a few minutes, I stood up from the bed I was laying on, looked thoroughly in my wallet – a twenty-dollar bill had been taken by her.
