On 09/16/2019 early Monday morning, I’m at church cleaning the Sanctuary. I always take my shoes off when I serve my God. A sign of respect. I’m behind the piano dusting. As I move away to the right side of the piano my ankles get caught in the piano’s long cord that feeds from the top and into the bottom. My cargo pants are loose enough around my ankles to deter any easy movement once they got caught. In other words, they had snagged. I am struggling to pull my legs away and as I am doing this my body is horizontal and my head is vertical. I am in midair for I would say at least six seconds. All of a sudden my legs are freed and immediately I am standing upright. I was not afraid and it didn’t scare me at all. It was one of the most awesome experiences ever😊 I was concentrating on freeing my legs and I did not focus on anything I was just staring. I tucked the piano cord inside the back of the piano. I was completely and totally within comfort. I truly believe if I hadn’t had my shoes off I would have suffered broken bones and head injuries. The following Wednesday I had to txt the pastor's wife to make sure the piano was still working. I found out later they went over and turned the piano on and when the piano was used the following Sunday everything played well. The following Monday as I was about to dust behind the piano again I stood still. I felt throughout my whole being a warm trembling reminder of the previous week. I carefully dusted the piano and I am continually mindful of the piano cord. Praise and Glory to my God every day. Amen😊
