Principle of equivalence and general theory of relativity.

Valery Borisovich Morozov. PJSE, v.3, n.3, (1-4), September 01, 2017.

DOI: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3786658

Abstract

It was shown that the general form of the continuous gravitational field metric coincides with the non-inertial system metric describing motion in the Minkowsky space. The result is not a solution of Einstein’s equation, which fact requires a revision of a structure of the general relativity theory.

Принцип эквивалентности и общая теория относительности.

Валерий Борисович Морозов. PJSE, v.3, n.3, (1-4), Cентябрь 01, 2017.

DOI: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3786790

Amauri Betini Bartoszeck. PJSE, v.3, n.3, (5-22), September 15, 2017.

DOI: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3786805

Abstract

This exploratory study aims to evaluate by means of a Likert scale anchored ten questions the extent to which a small sample of thirty three teachers from various subject matters from urban area schools understand when using “case study” in the teaching and learning of Biology by their students. Questions contents are versed with how to learn in effective and with interest the biological science and the natural world, how the high skills student deals with more complex topics in Biology, and how to collect experimental data. It highlighted the use of scientific vocabulary applying when writing scientific essays relating what is already know to new issues applying the created knowledge to novel situations, integrating and transferring to new contexts. Additional considerations were collected from teachers involved and presented in the attachments. Educational implications are discussed and provided by means “case” exemplars.

Bioaccumulation Factor (BAF) of Heavy Metals in Selected Grassy Species in Mejia Thermal Power Plant, West Bengal, India.

Upasana Datta, Sangita Agarwal, Sufia Zaman and Abhijit Mitra. PJSE, v.3, n.3, (23-28), September 29, 2017.

DOI: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3786823

Abstract

Pollution from fly ash is one of the principle environmental and public health problems in recent times. Concentrations of toxic metals of Zn, Cu, Pb were determined in the grassy vegetation around Mejia Thermal Power Station, West Bengal, India during November, 2015. Simultaneously the biologically available heavy metals in the fly ash were also estimated to evaluate the bioaccumulation factor (BAF) in the selected grass species. The study reveals that BAF is more in Typha elephantia as compared to Phargmites karka. The present study is a probable road map for natural bioremediation of fly ash using producer community of the area.
