Photography Homework For the week of August 29:

Plans are subject to change.

Objectives: Students will use the skills they have acquired in composition, balance, perspective, framing, etc. to create artistic photographs representing various subject areas.

Monday: A5

Activity

  • History of Photography - read Wikipedia's "History of Photography".
  • Split into groups of three: as a group, review the significance of each event in the timeline of National Geographic's "History of Photography"
  • Look at examples of old photos provided by Mr. Langley
  • Camera Obscura
  • File Management
  • Upload photos to Picasa
  • Create Digital Portfolio site
  • Post photos to Digital Portfolio

Assignment

Photography assignment: Using any digital camera, take at least six photos from different points of view of a flower. Be prepared to upload these to Picasa and post on your Digital Portfolio site next class period.

Tuesday: B3

Activity
