Job Shadowing Questionnaire

You will need to get in touch with your contact person for job shadowing and have them answer these questions. Each question MUST be answered. First contact will be made by telephone. Make sure you have this information written down somewhere else so you will know what you need to do in order to be a successful job shadow experience. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE NIGHT BEFORE TO CONTACT YOUR SHADOWER. It may take a few days for your contact to return your phone call if they happen to be out of the office. After you have spoken with your contact over the telephone, email your contact to verify all of the answers to the questions. If you have any concerns, see your teacher.

• Verify the contact person's email address so you can follow up with an email - explain that you are being graded on the business letter emailed to the contact person - cc your teacher.
• How long is your workday? What are the hours of the workday?
• Is there anything I need to do to check in at your business?
• Where should I park?
• Where should I meet my contact person?
• How should I dress?
• Do I need to bring anything?
• Do I need to bring a lunch - what is the typical plan for lunch?
• Is there anything else I need to know?
