  • Read the passage emailed to you from Benjamin Franklin's autobiography regarding his virtues. During class, write a reflection blog on the following topic:
    • Reflection: Analyze how Franklin's virtues represent the philosophies of Deism (minimum 500 words). Find and use a credible source on Deism to support your ideas. Your reflection must include support using proper MLA parenthetical and bibliography citation. After you read the passage, you may work quietly with a partner to brainstorm ideas for approximately 10 minutes. However, individual work and original ideas are expected. Finalize your reflection blog by the end of the period.
    • Remember to identify your idea, support it with a specific example from either text, and then provide a brief explanation why the support validates your idea. This is a scholarly report - give me a quality end product - be sure to proofread, edit, and revise as necessary before next class. No late assignments accepted.
