Suffern led the field in the opening run of the course on 4 October. Cpt Goodbody recovering from a recent operation for tonsilitis and has been unable to keep up with the daily practice. Reynolds is prevented by doctor's orders for coming out. Guernsey is not running this year and the available material is further cut down by ineligibility.
Only Suffern and Harris '31 return from the team that defeated Middlebury last year. Cpt Goodbody is temporarily out of the lineup. Mr. Seeley will also probably race Burnett '32, Fisher, Ingraham, MH Johnson, and Tipper '33.
