Forrest E "Pop" Craver died in Carlisle on 18 October. He captained the 1897 football team, coached football for five seasons between 1905 and 1921, and coached track for 30 years ending in 1937. He was a professor of physical education at Dickinson for 27 years; also teaching mathematics and occasionally Greek and Latin, retiring from teaching in 1946.
