Annual hare and hounds chase of the coeds took place yesterday afternoon after several postponements due to weather,

Class cross country run will be held on Thursday and the men who will represent Bates at the Colby cross country meet will be chosen. Cpt Parker, Syrene, Doe, Snow, Chamberlain, Boyd, Packard, and Mansfield are promising candidates.

As the fields were deep with mud and a chilly wind blew, Coach Lathrop had the men run the square, starting on Skinner St at the corner of Bardwell, goes to Central Ave to Russell to College and back to the start, running three laps of one mile, 216 yards each totaling ~3 ½ miles.
