The Williams team travelled to Troy on the 9:33 train. The return trip was on the "Owl" arriving in Williamstown at 2:01 the next morning.

Beginning at the gymnasium, the runners follow Main Street past the Kappa Alpha Lodge and over Cemetery Hill, turns right by the Buxton Brook School House, descents North-west Hill to the state road from Williamstown to Bennington. Here the course veers sharply to the left and later follows Syndicate Road to the right into Park Street. Crossing Main Street the runners race down Hoxsey to Walden Street, thence to Weston Field finishing with two and a half laps on the track. Course established 1913.
