Dickinson 1935

The Dickinsonian, 3 Oct 1935, p4

"Cross-country intercollegiate competition has been definitely dropped, for the current year at least, from the spot curriculum of Dickinson college.

"Coach Craver stated that the board believed the sport to be too great a financial detriment to be continued at the present. The cost of equipping the teams has not been compensated for by the number of men interested, only a small group reporting each year.

"The measures now in effect being in the workds of Coach Craver, 'only temporary.'"
