Continue across the dam to the south side of the lake. Stay on Hwy 18 through the town of Big Bear Lake, turn right onto Mill Creek Rd and follow it a distance to Aspen Glen Picnic Area. Park here. We saw lots of mountain bikers. The trail was hard to follow but basically you just want to keep going up. The view is awesome, you'll know when you get there why the hike is so-named.
After our hike, we ended up here. Drinking beer. http://www.mountainbrewery.com/
