Dear Sirs,
I write to your company as sponsors to the Scottish Football Association (hereafter referred to as the SFA) regarding a matter on which I also wrote to the SFA, concerning the present situation where three sets of management teams preside over senior clubs in Scotland.
In my letter to the SFA (copy attached), I asked them to begin discussions on this issue with the SFL and the SPL. To date * I have not had the courtesy of a reply/I have not had a favourable response.
I believe the current management set up is causing irreparable harm to the game and call for the support of your company, in the hope that you can exert some influence over the SFA, that will persuade them to entertain the idea that the SFA, SPL and SFL merge their respective management structures into one organisation for the betterment of Scottish Football.

Whilst your support of the SFA is appreciated, it must be questioned: if in fact you are is simply perpetuating the current set up and consequences of this set up; and also, whether it is wise that a successful company such as yourselves should be associated with a failing organisation that is in decline.
Therefore, I call upon your company, not to withdraw your sponsorship, but to consider the alternative option of using your influence and should I not receive a reply to this letter, I will have no option but to regard this as a rejection of my request.
I feel so strongly about this that if you were to decide against an influential role or fail to issue a statement by [state what you believe is a reasonable timescale], confirming your support for changes to the current management set up as outlined herein, then I regret that [insert the consequences - i.e what action you intend to pursue next].
Yours faithfully,
