FVC Tournament

The Fox Valley Conference tournament wrapped up Saturday in dramatic fashion. The Golden Eagles had a chance to capture the Conference Title with several matches on court, but fell just shy. Ultimately, the girls put themselves ahead of regular season division champion Crystal Lake South, but failed to catch Prairie Ridge, losing by a mere point.

Despite the tough loss, the girls played tough tennis and demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout the weekend. They also finished as the only team to take home hardware (and all-conference honors) at every flight.

Leading the way was the fourth doubles team of Lauren Bayer and Sara Elliott, who took first place in dominant fashion.
