No, really, I assure you...
Although it seems that all we've gotten so far this season has been a winter weather encore, the boys have been hard at work getting ready to answer the many question marks hanging over the team. With the exit of four state-qualifying seniors from the 2013 campaign, the Golden Eagles will be looking for several players to step up into leadership roles and shoulder a greater competitive burden as the top of the lineup takes shape.
Though the team was looking forward to kicking off competition with a pair of tournaments over spring break, the lingering winter weather wouldn't cooperate.
With Johnsburg having to postpone the season opener, our conference season will now start, in style, with a match at Coach Betts' alma mater, McHenry on Thursday, April 3rd. We will take on Johnsburg Friday before hosting a strong field of teams at the Jacobs Invitational on Saturday.
