The girls' team is out of the gates in strong fashion. Both the varsity and frosh-soph teams met with great success Monday evening in their various quadrangular tournaments. At the varsity level, the Jacobs Gold and Jacobs Brown squads shared first place honors at our own home quad, picking up wins over South Elgin and Larkin High Schools. At the Huntley quad, a third varsity team swept the day's competition, beating Huntley, Streamwood, and Elgin all by a 5-0 margin. Today's tilt at Crystal Lake South (which looks to be in jeopardy due to the rain), will be a major test for the Golden Eagles who need a strong showing to realize their Conference-Championship aspirations. Jacobs is now 7-0 on the season.
