An Epic Opener

The Golden Eagles 2013 debut was a strong one. With no hint of the long bus trip or the stifling heat, the girls picked up a perfect 7-0 win over the Johnsburg Skyhawks, who returned many of their 2012 varsity starters. Exhibition play followed suit with all six matches all going the way of the Golden Eagles as well. While the girls showed a definite hunger for this season-opening win, it hardly compared to the appetite they displayed as we descended on Epic Deli for a well-earned victory dinner. Let's stay hungry this season, ladies!
