The Millers Late C19th Kellys Directory lists J Anstey of Lychett Minister as the only windmiller in Dorset apart from the Pearces at Easton on Portland.

Notes and comments

The Tithe Apportionment & map for this village to the north west of Poole, identifies a wooded area to the east of the village as Millers wood Corner Coppice (ref 544). The late C19th Kelly's Directory[1] lists J Anstey of Lychett Minister as being the only windmiller in Dorset apart from the Pearce family of Portland.
