The Millers : none known

Present site condition : Main road passes through the area near Packers Hill but no visible mound or obvious site.

Notes and Comments : This site, situated about 5 miles south east of Sherborne, just south of the village to the east of Holwell was formerly in Somerset.1 Although the C19th Tithe Apportionment has no windmill place-name references, the 2nd edition 6" OS map locates Windmill Hill at the grid reference above to the area east of Packers Hill. The 1st edition 1" OS map also shows this place name but with far less precision.
