The day's events will start with a review of the R.E.D. RECON programme and issuance of the Training Log. Introductions to the areas with incumbent training will follow.

Then off to some wilderness survival basics will key skills - in this case - cordage, paracord use and rope. Course survival knives will be issued for free as a launch bonus as well as a unique paracord survival kit. You will learn lots here.

The afternoon horse riding will continue after lunch with training and riding with an associated intro. to the use of Search and Rescue Horses. Whether you have done some riding before or are a beginer, you should have fun and learn.

Mounted SAR Inductions for Equine (Horse) Search and Rescue. Using material from established sources and our experienced Horse Riding Trainers we did a very enjoyable afternoon of Horse Riding and SAR (Search and Rescue.) We also combined some 'field bushcraft' knowledge and skills when in the wilderness. Great day had by all!

Nathalie and Justin, on horseback.

The day started quite early with Bushcraft survival skills and training in class.

Justin and Nathalie compare paracord (550 military spec!) after using various shortening methods.

Paracord crafts and ways to carry / use your cordage: Here are Ginny and Amanda's baskets / cups.

Paracord can be knitted - used for everything from Rifle slings to guitar straps and carry grips.

Nathalie, Ginny, Amanda, Justing & Richard share a laugh in the stables.

Gary Foo and Justin Levine stop for a photo inside the stables!

Out on the trail ... and planning lunch.

Deep in the woods, the team follow a lined trail, and navigate a circled area passed the deer and woodfolk!
