The 1861 census lists my 5x great grandfather Robert as being born in Kilpatrick, Dumbarton in about 1793;T207 a search of old parish registers for +/- 10 years only returns 1 Robert Heeps; that Robert Heeps was born to Robert Heeps and Elizabeth Frew and it was in 1793 in New or East Kilpatrick;SP202 based on this I am putting Robert and Elizabeth as my 6x great grandparents.

Elizabeth Frew was born on April 8, 1771 to David Frew and Elizabeth Slosh and was christened on April 14, 1771 in Carriden, West Lothian, Scotland.R302 Her mother full last name is something like Auchinsloss.R303
