This map of Centreville is for Township 29 North Range 12 West of Leelanau County, Michigan in 1881.00

How They Became Related:

  • The son of Alexis Belanger, Gregory Belanger, married the granddaughter of Narcisse Plamondon, Pauline St. Jean on February 1, 1892.07

  • Nazere Plamondon is the son of Narcisse Plamondon, he married the daughter of Cyril Harp, Priscille Harpe on January 31, 1876.08

  • The daughter of Cyril Harp, Demerise Harpe, married the son of Narcisse Plamondon, Evangelist Plamondon on June 11, 1884.09

The NE Quarter:

The map shows the NE quarter broken in to 3 sections but land records only show that Nazere had the west half and Narcisse had the east half.03,04

Carp Lake:

The body of water shown on the map as Carp Lake is Lake Leelanau; according to Wikipedia, "early settlers called the river and the lake "Carp Lake"."10
