Fuzz Topologies
Here I am trying to compile a list of distinct circuit topologies seen in fuzz effect pedals.
I have tried to give each distinct circuit configuration its own name as opposed to merely naming them after the earliest example since that is often in dispute (although I have tried to note early example models as well). This makes a list of fuzz circuits that is much more compact and understandable than a giant list of every fuzz box ever made.
Only the bare minimum configuration of each type is shown. Most practical pedals are made of a combination of stages which may include standard transistor or op amp amplifiers as well as fuzz circuits. Refer to the examples given at the end of each article to see practical implementations that may include additional components within the given circuit.
