EC 2002

EC 2002 is the circuit board designator for later big box Deluxe Memory Man reissues. These always have external power adapters. These may contain 2x MN3005 or 4x MN3008 chip sets. Some or all (TBD) of these boards use relay bypasses. The circuit boards are green colored. These were made in the 2000s. I have not seen any actual evidence that the "2002" designator corresponds to the year 2002, although I have seen that theory thrown around on a forum or two. This was an update to the EC 2000 Deluxe Memory Man reissue. Note that the Stereo Memory Man reissue designator was EC 2020.

EC 2002 Rev D notes:

-L7915 regulator IC for the -15V power supply.

-4x MN3008 2048 stage BBD ICs.

-7 trim pots for the BBDs.

-ATQ203 12V relay for bypass. Stompswitch is a 3PDT, but only 2 terminals are soldered for SPST type operation. Presumably this was cheaper for EH than using an actual SPST.

-Silkscreen indicates BBD sockets are for MN3008, but silkscreen note at bottom reads: "Install JP for MN3005, Install SP for MN3008."
