Tone Cap Auditioner

The TONE CAP AUDITIONER.

Try a new tone circuit out in no time at all.

This plugs in just like a pedal. There is an input jack and an output jack.

Leave your current tone control(s) full up (no effect), alligator clip in whatever cap you want to try, select a 250k pot or a 500k pot, and you're suddenly testing out a new tone circuit without any soldering!

This was one of the first things I ever drilled out a little hammond box for, and that's my excuse for making the awful mistake of putting the pots way to close together. If I ever re-do this thing, the pots are going to be nicely spaced and the 250k gets a Strat knob, and the 500k gets a Gibson knob.
