Today he is the director of research and development at the NTL Group, which has created several neuroengineering diagnostic and treatment programs for a broad array of neurological dysfunctions.

He served as a senior systems engineer at JPL on several deep space research missions in the mid- to late 1970s, including the first Mars landing and the first mission to Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus.
