Undergoes rapid growth
During the early years of life, the brain undergoes a period of rapid growth. This is especially true during the first three years of life when the brain grows at an astonishing rate. Dr. Curtis Cripe notes that when a child reaches the age of three, their brain will have reached approximately 80% of its adult size.

• Talking, reading, and singing to your child often: Doing these activities help stimulate your child's language development and bond with you, too.
• Encouraging them to try new things: Placing them in scenarios where they can develop problem-solving skills and become more independent.
• Showing them patience and love – Demonstrating these emotions or feeling can help your child build their self-esteem and gives them a sense of security.
• Helping them get enough sleep – Getting enough rest is essential for their overall health and development.
By doing these things regularly, Dr. Curtis Cripe mentions that you can help your child's brain develop to its fullest potential.
