Shalom Chaverim,
Thanks to all the hard work of the people working on our Passover Seder, we are going to have a great crowd this Saturday. And...we are going to start on time!! (5:30!) Be there!!
In synagogues, where they have daily services, the Torah is read every day during Passover. Here is a summary for all eight days. On the First Day of Passover, Exodus 12:21-51 we read about the Offering, and the Plague of the Firstborn. The second reading, Leviticus 22:26-23:44, sets the appointed times for Jewish holidays and the directive to go to the Holy Temple for the Pilgrimage Festivals. The next reading has us avoiding leaven and eating matzah. Then we have the Laws for the festivals. A section describing Moses receiving the Second set of Tablets, and God's revelation of the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy. There are also laws regarding the 'Second Passover.' The Seventh Day of Passover describes the crossing of the Sea. The Eight Day, Deuteronomy 15:19-16:17, catalogs the annual cycle of festivals, their observance, and the offerings.
Our next Friday night dinner and Service will be on May 17th. Put it on your calendar. I hope to see everyone there!

We actually have had a few new members in the last few months. Let's meet each other at the Seder!
