This week's Torah portion is Yitro:
Moses spends much of his time explaining God's statues and laws
to the people; his father-in-law, Jethro, suggests that he delegates
some of this judicial authority. After ascending Mount Sinai to
speak with God. Moses returns to prepare the people for Revelation.
Amidst awesome thunder, lightning, and flame, God, glorious and
holy, reveals the Divine Presence--and the Ten Commandments--
to Israel.
Shabbat Service on 2/24/17
Our February Shabbat Dinner & Service will be hosted by the
Salen's in Calvert Beach, Saint Leonard Maryland.
Dinner will be served at 6pm and our Shabbat Service will be begin at 7pm.

Parking - use our driveway or the boat ramp parking lot next to our house,
the gate will be open.

Safe Nights Dinner - 2/22/17
Beit Chaverim is again preparing to host a dinner
(and preparing a lunch for the next day) for
Safe Nights at Saint Paul's on February 22, 2017.
We created the sign-up menu for Safe Nights on Sign Up Genius
You can get into the account by clicking on "Find a Sign Up". Use the "Search by Mail", and type in the email address: julesbethrube1@yahoo.com
(and the password Sidney0320) and then be sure to follow the directions about typing in the "random text below", you will then be able to access the sign up for Safe Nights dinner.
