Peach Smoothie

Pomegranate-Peach Smoothie

Pour your smoothie into a thermos and take it with you for a midmorning or afternoon snack. Shake well to recombine before drinking. Love that only 2 T of dairy.

1 large peach, pitted and chopped- what about partially freezing the peach?

1/3 cup pomegranate juice- or other juice?

2 Tablespoons 0% plain Greek yogurt

1 Tablespoon flaxseed oil- what could be be used in this place?

2 teaspoons honey

4 ice cubes

COMBINE all ingredients into blender. Process until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.

1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries

1 Bananna

1/2 Vanilla yogurt

1C Ice tea- green tea is the best

1 C Spinach

1/2 T sliced ginger

1 C ice

1/2 Soy Milk

1/4 Mango

1 C ice

  • Avocado

  • Leafy greens-Kale, spinach

  • Cinnamon

  • Chia Seeds

  • Coconut oil- healthy fat- the body uses this as energy- rather than storing

  • Substitute - green tea/water/ice

  • Too much sweet fruits- combine with other things

Apple Smoothy

Ingredients

2 apples chopped

1/4-inch fresh ginger

1/2 tsp turmeric

1 cup ice

1 cup water

Maple syrup (or any other sugar substitute, to sweeten it)

1. Add all the ingredients In a blender.

2. Pulse to form a smooth mix.

3. Turn off the blender and pour in serving glasses.

4. Enjoy fresh or store in the fridge up to 2 days.
