Jeanette Armstrong is a native person from Canada. She talks about her identity and says where she comes from. She is very traditional and she helps her community by being outspoken for her tribe. Become one stand in one community. You have your community to be responsible to help your family, your elders, your younger siblings and younger cousins to know your language.

"Native American Identity"
The author is saying that Native American identity is difficult to understand because it involves their culture. It's different from other people because you need proof of native enrollment. They need to know their spiritual ancestors. To know who you are you need to balance your identity.

She was saying that Native American suicide is causing a crisis for Native American people. Native people are causing a crisis because some of the Native Americans are Experiencing mental illness such as depression,anxiety or any other mental illness. Laura Paskus was also talking about the risk factors about suicide. Knowing a Native American who thinks about wanting to commit suicide and not knowing when it is going to happen. It's scary to think what you could have done to prevent that person from taking their life. Laura Paskus about helping native americans to go into a program to prevent Native American suicides around New Mexico Native pueblos. It's mostly 15 to 25 years old who are committing suicide during the crisis of the native American suicide prevention of youth.
In this article “N.M., plagued by suicide, likely to see spike in 2020.” By Devin Jackson. He was talking about students who had to do distance learning during the school year. The students are having trouble during the last year when they are all in isolation. In 2020 the suicide rate will be higher in the state. The average rate of young adults and young teens are 15 to 25 years of age are committing suicide during the isolation . The students are committing suicide because the student are missing social interactions with other students and their school activities, Jackson also talks about a suicide prevention program for students and young adults who are thinking by ending their life early. This is also tied to my topic because it talks about mental illness and bullying in schools during the pandemic and during blending learning.

This article “10 Year Old Autistic Girl Commits Suicide Because She Was Racially Bullied By Teacher And Students In A Utah School District The Department of Justice Says Intentionally Ignores Racial Harassment” from Impactmagazine,” explains how the Davis school district mistreats students of color. The article also talks about a young girl whose name was Isabella Faith Tichenor she was getting bullied by students and teachers at Davis school district. The administration didn't do anything to stop the bullying. Tichenor had a disorder called autism. She kept being bullied until she got to the point of thinking about committing suicide. In 2019 a bus driver was mistreating a biracial young boy. The boy was hanging from the school bus door and the bus driver kept driving. The Davis school district is going to require all staff to learn how to prevent discrimination and respond to complaints of assault and harassment when the student is getting bullied or harassed. They are also going to educate students and parents to also prevent discrimination. Kids are getting traumatised everyday at the school because of bullying. If no one changes the way the students and teachers act, it can lead these young children and teens to suicide.

In this article, it reports on American Indian (AI) and Alaska Native (AN) youth in grades 7-10. These students filled out a survey and it showed that students experienced bullying, racism, and sexual harassment. It occurred more often in girls than boys. The article also stated that these students experienced depressive symptoms such as suicidal thoughts and alcohol abuse. American Indians (AI) and Alaska Native (AN) did not feel that school did not matter to them. Referring to the editors they are currently preventing the response to AI and AN youth to seek help from other people.

In this video “The mental health impacts of the pandemic one year later,” Dr. Roger McIntyre, who is a professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology at the University of Toronto, was talking about the rising rates of loneliness, mistrust, and lower happiness, and guiltiness among teenagers and single parents. McIntyre also talks about it's more common in females because being a single parent during the COVID-19 Pandemic is stressful. Dr. Mclntyre spoke about how we need to take care of ourselves and to stay connected to our family and friends. Mental health in the younger generation is not ok because kids are living alone or not getting attention because they are not around other people. There are people who have mental illness who are fatigued and low on energy. Now that we are back in school, we have greater awareness, but there is still a lot of stress and different emotions such as depression and anxiety. Dr. Mclntyre said we should look at what factors there are to protect people from sucide.”

Talks about the high risk of internet addiction, the risk of young children discovering inappropriate websites and other harmful internet material. There were some concerns of other people that social media has an effect on social or emotional development on young children and teenagers. Another thing about this article is that There have been cases of self-harm and also attempted suicide ages 16 and over. There is a higher risk of cyberbullying. There's a different age 11 to 15 are experiencing bullying. Then young kids and teens come across that some of these kids are being groomed online.

Amanda Todd I have been experiencing cyberbullying and bullying and her school. It prevented her from missing school, skipped school and also had her get transferred to a different school because the cyberbullying and the bullying got very complex. Amanda Todd loved to sing on youtube and be open around herself. She was bullied for being awkward and naive. The words hurt her but she got through. Couple months later she wanted a webcam and she met her stalker Tyler Boo. The stalker was an older guy who was an online predator for underage girls. Many young teen girls are getting blackmailed and being bullied,cyberbullying. This impacted Amanda todd because she thought it was only going towards her but it was going to different underage girls. When amanda was sexually exposed she was called awful names. She was being slut shamed,camwhore, and vulgar sentences like “ are you a pornstar now?” Amanda Todd was so afraid to go outside. This case was a crime of Blackmail, sextortion of different victims that acam across this situation Amanda is going through. Most girls want to get attention and flattery towards men. There is a website where predators can put underage girls and have their life ruined. Amanda Todd was a sweet girl. She wanted someone to talk to. On october 10 2012 Amanda Todd committed suicide by hanging. She was only 15 years old.
