We have started to lose our indigenous identity and become more like other races. Not just only the whites but from cultures around the world.. In essence we are copying a copy because as tribes of North America, the people that came here take from other cultures. But they prioritized money and power over anything else. We should be trying to encourage the teachings of our tribes so that we don’t become extinct. Other places around the world already think that we don’t exist so we have to make sure that doesn’t become reality.I’m also guilty of not learning my culture and over the years of going to school here I've realised how important it is. I always feel weird saying I’m Native American because of my skin color and lack of knowledge about my tribe.
