Blackpool is creating a new ‘model of practice’; a consistent way of working with children, young people and families in order to help achieve change.  But we are not just lifting a pre-existing model off the shelf…..in order to make this new ‘model of practice’ truly meaningful for Blackpool, a group of people with a range of personal and professional expertise have come together to develop this it co-productively.  The group included young people, parents, carers, social workers, managers, early help practitioners and members of the Resilience Revolution.

This workshop will explore our learning from the process, particularly in relation to the Resilience Revolution fundamentals of co-production and whole system change.  We will talk you through the co-productive process captured in our visual poster, highlight our party popper moments and times when we needed to ring the bell…..we will share with you the proposed model of practice and why we believe it is bold, strengths based and has relationships at its heart.  And finally we will ask you what you think and seek your views on how to make it even better.
