Neil Humphrey is Professor of Psychology of Education and the Head of the Manchester Institute of Education.
His research interests include children’s mental health, social and emotional learning, and special educational needs. He is a member of the ESRC mental health expert group and the children and young people’s research working group for the Department of Health’s 10-year strategy for mental health.
When he is not working at the University, Neil moonlights as an unpaid taxi driver for his three daughters.
