Students who wish to make up a failing grade in a course or wish to raise a course grade in order to continue in a sequence may do so by repeating the course, attending summer school programs, or accessing blended learning through online resources.
When a student chooses to repeat a course, both the original grade and the new grade will appear on the student’s transcript. No extra credit is given when a student has already passed a course and repeats it in order to raise the grade. Students must achieve a C or better.
Course selection changes resulting from work successfully completed in summer school must be made immediately after summer school.
In some special cases, students may make up failed courses through alternative programs that may include online resources which must be approved by an administrator prior to enrollment.
