What styles of acting, choreography and singing are essential components in Theater?
Theater is open to all students who enjoy acting and performing. Students enrolled in theater class will have the opportunity to enhance their artistic skills while learning to collaborate effectively in an ensemble atmosphere. Students will study various acting styles (dramatic and comedic), as well as work on musical theater choreography and singing skills. Improvisation technique, theatre history, audition technique, backstage production techniques, critiquing skills, rehearsal, and performance techniques will also be covered in this course. Students will be assessed on these artistic mediums, which also include life skills, time management, and social skills.
