How can we reason abstractly and quantitatively?
This course has been designed to effectively incorporate technology via exploration and reflection of content material. Topics will include data driven linear equations, functions, matrices, systems of equations, analytic geometry, sequences, series, probability, statistics, pattern exploration, detailed study of functions, and trigonometry. Active learning, communicating algebraically and real world applications will allow assessment to inform instruction. Students are strongly urged to have a TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator, a necessary tool for coursework and standardized tests.
