AP Spanish Language is intended for students who wish to develop proficiency and integrate their language skills, using authentic materials and sources. Students who enroll should already have a basic knowledge of the language and the cultures of Spanish speaking peoples and should have attained a reasonable proficiency in using the language. This course will thoroughly prepare students for the demands of the Advanced Placement exam in the Spanish language. There are assignments which students must complete over the summer prior to the start of the school year. Efforts will be dedicated toward achieving excellence in speaking, reading, writing, and expressing ideas creatively.
