The subject of my still life drawing is my water bottle. The subject of my perspective drawing is a corner in my living room. Though it’s obvious, the subject of my self portrait is my face. I used just the paper provided and a mechanical pencil. I sketched out some simple lines before tracing over them darker and erased the sketch lines.
I changed up the proportions of my face slightly before I turned my portrait in, but they are still pretty off. As for the perspective drawing of the corner of my living room, they photos on the wall as well as anything angled is off by a lot. Though I tried to fix that, I couldn’t get it quite right.
Well they are all things in my everyday life. I bring my water bottle almost everywhere with me, like school and appointments. As for my face, well I would hope that’s with me every day. And the corner of my living room is a corner I look at to ground myself if I’m having an issue with focusing or just need something to bring me back down from my head. Something that bothers me is proportions. I’m not great at that when I draw people and I really want to work on that and improve by the next time I do a self portrait. I also need to work on perspective drawings because it is difficult to organize how everything is angled.
