Famous Duplicate

The subject of this piece is a duplication of one part of a famous art piece, which I have yet to know who created the original. I used the square provided and some markers. To get the placement of the image correct I divided both the original small square provided and the square for my duplication in quarters so it would be easier to copy.

I used contrast to my advantage, using purple and yellow as my two colors, which made it all really pop, especially the line between the two different shades. In the original piece it was black and white, but my copy was in color, making it truly pop, especially with the contrast between the purple and yellow.

Something about my project that bothers me is that it could be neater and a bit more accurate. The person sitting beside me had A2 while I had A1, so we put them side to side and checked if they matched up. They were okay, but definitely could have used an improvement on my part. So if I could work on my project more, I would check the accuracy closer to the original.
