Donate Life

This piece is for the Donate Life challenge, in which we needed to create a piece that was about becoming an organ donor and included the phrase "organ and tissue donation." I decided to make an anatomically correct heart with the phrase "have a heart, consider organ [and] tissue donation"

This piece was made on a scratchboard sheet with different tools used to create a variety of patterns.

This project was originally going to just be a heart with little to no pattern and very little depth to it. However, looking at it with no pattern in it wasn't eye-catching at all. So, I started playing with different lines and such and created the design it is now.
