Logos

This project was all about logos. We were assigned two different tasks: one logo designed based off of a word and one for the high school.

For my "Falcon Pride" logo, I designed it digitally using acorn. I used a reference photo of a falcon, loosely outlined it with a cutting tool, and created the silhouette. I then went through copious fonts online before choosing the one in the logo. I then filled it all in with colors, using our school colors, black, white, and maroon.

I tried multiple photos of falcons flying, sitting, diving, etc. before ultimately deciding on the one seen in my piece. If I were to do this piece again, I would use a thicker font so the words could be easier seen from afar.
