Sustained Investigation #3

This piece is a bunch of jungle plants, which are known to be very colorful and eye-catching.

I made this work with colored pencil on bristol. After I finished my design, I used an exacto knife to cut out the plants and the area around them and glued it onto a sheet of black paper.

If I were to keep working on this piece, I would make the background more solid and maybe a different color in order to really make the reds, oranges, and yellows pop.
