2D Design: Semester 1 Reflection

Overall this year, my art has stayed pretty similar skill-wise. However, I have learned a lot, such as how to use cricut to do multiple things (stencils, stickers, etc), how to make quality art using watercolors, and how much I love creating art with graphite and colored pencils. My graphite work has improved since my freshman year art class and I am learning new tricks with it, which I feel is my biggest success in art this year. I struggled with deadlines a lot this year, especially with artist statements and artsonia.

Moving forward with my art, I want to keep working on graphite art and maybe colored pencil art in the hopes of really improving my work. Next semester, I plan on taking Ceramics II to further develop my skills in clay art and 3d art as a whole.
