Multiple Pinch Project

For this project I built the pinch pots using a similar method as I did for the spheres. I decided to build a tower, with each level being a different animal. I started with a turtle, glazing it a blueish green. The second level I made a hedgehog, glazing it a reddish brown, though it turned out white. I then made a pig and a panda. Glazing them pink, and black & white. I decided to make the octopus from Finding Nemo, and then put a small bird on top. I did this so I could have all kinds of different animals. I think I did well on the octopus, the way it looks is fairly similar to the character and I'm very happy with it. If I could change something about this it would be to re-do the glazing of my hedgehog so it would be the right color. I created this piece to show how I can build multiple pinch pots, balance them and make something cool in the process. Because there had to be so many pinch pots, I made them smaller as I went. I also decided to change the shape of the last 2 on top altogether so it wouldn't be so fragile when picking it up, and have a lighter top.
