zoomed shoe

I wanted it to be space themed, I also just wanted to do different patterns and colors. I started with pencil after zooming in. This is the most zoomed in part of my shoe drawing. I used star stencils to make the stars all even and vary the sizes. I used watercolor paint and tried to use a bunch of different colors.

I used balance with my colors to put warmer and cooler tones together. I also used movement with the swirls in the galaxy to make it more realistic. I revised what I wanted to do with my project, I wasn't sure at first if the ideas (that I ended up doing) were the ones I wanted to do.

I wanted it to be fun and to draw people's attention when they look at it. This project relates to my life because it's fun and different from other zoomed shoe projects. If I could change anything on my painting it would be to have kept going with the space theme and drawn planets or something in place of the pink zig-zags.
