The subject of this creation is to show the realism to a candy of our choice. I started my art with graphite to make sure everything looked the way I wanted before I colored it. Following this I colored the candy and background with colored pencil. I also used colored pencil to create shadows. I chose to draw mints and M&M's because they were similar sized and shaped and I figured it would be different from what most people did. I wanted to evenly spread everything out.
I used line and lots of things to make the whole thing look good. My project changed because I added stripes to the background, and I made them green because it blended well with the other colors.
The meaning behind this artwork is to show candy in a more realistic way and also to show how we really see things. This project relates to my life because I like candy. I wish I had made my drawing more "scale to size" because in real life the mints are bigger than the M&M's.
