linear perspective

The setting of my creation is a street with a bunch of different buildings. I used pencil and a ruler to make accurate and straight lines. It is made at a viewpoint of someone in a tall truck, everything is going toward the center, which is how you would see it if you were in that position.

Lines are the biggest composition techniques I used. Every line in this drawing is straight, either horizontal, vertical or connect/ go toward the vanishing point. I changed where I put the signs that attach to the buildings a lot. I also changed how the windows looked a few times.

The story behind this artwork is how we don't notice very often, how we see things, so I took an ordinary picture like a city or shopping area and drew it the way we actually see things. This project relates to my life because it's simple but there's more to it once you pay attention. If I could change one thing about my artwork it would be to make my lines darker.
